Dina Helal is an artist/educator. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Local exhibitions include Pochron Studios, The Rotunda Gallery, Brooklyn,
Vlepo Gallery, Staten Island, Nix Gallery, The Window at 184 Franklin St,
22 Wooster, 10 on 8, Mary Anne McCarthy Fine Art, Taller Latino Americano,
New York, and Bronx River Art Center. Dina has been an artist in residence at
Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Sweet Briar, Virginia. She received a
Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York,
and a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in studio art and art history from Leeds
Metropolitan University, England.
